Scafell Pike - Guided Walk
Made it! I'm on top of the highest mountain in England. Can you do it?
The summit of Scafell Pike, at 3,209 feet (978 metres), lies in the lake district national park in Cumbria, Northwest England.
There are a variety of approaches to the summit of Scafell Pike and we'll be looking at heading up from the picturesque village of Seathwaite in Borrowdale.
You'll head up Styhead Gill leading up to Styhead Tarn before pushing onto the summit itself, surrounded by some of the great crags of the Lakes.
A Scafell Pike day takes between six and eight hours, including breaks and we move at a comfortable pace for the group.
You'll leave with a sense of achievement, a good workout and some great memories and maybe some tired legs!
We've partnered up with local photographer Martin Lawrence for these Lake District photos, click the photos to link through to Martin's inspiring website.

How fit do you have to be?
If you do some form of regular weekly exercise or have a physical job, you should be fine. If you do no regular exercise and have a desk job, you'll find it hard, but not impossible, so some training to get the heart pumping is a good idea. If you are unsure, contact us.
