Trek Training in Snowdonia

This 2 days will help you prepare for your overseas trekking trip, whether it be Kilimanjaro, Everest Base camp or the Inca trail amongst others.
Are you unsure if you are fit enough or perhaps want to gain some experience prior to heading out, then this trip will help you.
Most overseas trek operators recommend hillwalking as an effective way of training and conditioning your body for the demands of a multi-day trek. This will help you to enjoy your trek more and reduce your chances of injury.
We will spend both days in the mountains of Snowdonia with one of the days possibly being an ascent of Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.
You will come away with some good memories, 2 days mountain experience and an idea of your mountain fitness.
We might even drop in to the Pen-y-Gwyryd hotel where the 1953 Everest team stayed when training in Snowdonia for their Everest attempt!
Activity Price
£90 per person without accommodation
from £160per person including 2 nights bed and breakfast on a shared room basis or from £180 per person on a single room basis.
This includes a full day of guiding by a qualified leader and first aider. The day operates on a typical ratio of 8 clients to 1 guide, to ensure quality and safety for each client.

How fit do you have to be?
If you do some form of regular weekly exercise or have a physical job, you should be fine. If you do no regular exercise and have a desk job, you'll find it hard, but not impossible, so some training to get the heart pumping is a good idea. If you are unsure, contact us.
